Hello, I am Joris Anthonissen and together with my wife, Heidelinde, and our nine kids, we live on an off-grid homestead in Northern Ontario. Here we try to grow vegetables and fruit, keep sheep, bees, dairy- and meat-cows, try to build and increase the fertility of our land. Living here as a family has been a true blessing.
Our faith in Yahweh and His Son Yeshua is the foundation upon which we build our lives and our small woodworking business. We believe that our talents and opportunities are blessings, and we strive to honor these gifts through our work.
We view our woodworking as a form of stewardship, using the resources we have been given to create something meaningful and lasting.
The name Rehoboth, also in the name of our homestead (Rehoboth acres), is found in scripture in Genesis 26:22. It is the name Isaac gave to the third well he dug and means an open place, or a place where one can be at rest and has room to flourish.
